He added that work is also underway to build a new clinic building at Karak Governmental Hospital at a cost of 5 million dinars, as well as a modern ambulance and emergency center in northern Karak costing 7 million dinars, alongside the expansion of three health centers in the governorate. These projects are expected to be completed over the next two years.
Hassan noted that many projects in Karak had been stalled for years, and the government has made significant efforts to complete them. These include: the Prince Faisal Youth City project, which was inaugurated about three months ago and completed in just one year, despite the original timeline being two years; the expansion of the new Karak travel complex; converting a government building that had been abandoned and incomplete since 2016 for the benefit of Mutah University, to house its Faculty of Dentistry, with technical studies ongoing for its operation; and the development of the historic Qatraneh Castle site, including restoring its facilities, lighting, and establishing a visitor center, which currently hosts numerous tourism and cultural activities.
