Health Ministry denies cholera case in northeastern Jordan

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health denied reports that a patient in the northeastern governorate of Mafraq had been diagnosed with cholera.اضافة اعلان

The patient, a Syrian woman, presented to Mafraq Government Hospital on Saturday complaining of an illness, said MoH Secretary-General Raed Shboul, adding that the cholera laboratory tests came back negative.

The woman was discharged from the hospital the same day, he added.
