HEC announces that 3 presidents of public universities relieved of duties

AMMAN — The Higher Education Council (HEC), chaired by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, shared on Thursday that a decision was made to relieve presidents of Mutah University, Al al-Bayt University, and Tafila Technical University from their posts. Muhannad Khatib, media spokesperson for the ministry said that the decision came after examining recommendations submitted by the HEC assessment committee previously formed for the purpose to evaluating the performance of the Kingdom’s public universities’ presidents during their tenure, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported. Muhannad Khatib, media spokesperson for the ministry said that the decision came after examining recommendations submitted by the HEC assessment committee previously formed for the purpose to evaluating the performance of the Kingdom’s public universities’ presidents during their tenure, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
