In an interview on Jordan TV, Shamali said that the Council of Ministers had decided to exempt employers from the delay fine for failing to renew expired work permits, as well as the fine for changing employers.

The decision also exempted foreign laborers wishing to leave the Kingdom permanently from work permit fees and additional expenses.

Shamali noted that the duration set for foreign laborers to rectify their status is between July 4 and September 2.
