During a meeting on Monday with the commercial sector in the Karak governorate, attended by Deputy Governor Khaled Al-Ja'afra, Muhaidat highlighted that the gathering reflects the institution's commitment to fostering collaboration with various sectors. The goal is to address challenges and work towards achieving self-regulation, Al-Ghad reported.

To effectively carry out its supervisory role, the institution has expanded its branches across the Kingdom to 18, each staffed with a competent and trained regulatory team, Muhaidat explained. He also mentioned the intention to standardize the attire of all institution employees, particularly those in inspection and control committees, along with the implementation of electronic monitoring in some establishments.

Emphasizing the importance of unifying regulatory entities and coordinating efforts between various bodies to alleviate the burden on merchants, Muhaidat highlighted the institution's continuous focus on educational and informative initiatives.

These efforts aim to reduce financial violations, which have significantly decreased in recent years.

Muhaidat reiterated the institution's commitment to collaboration and networking with the laboratories of Mu'tah University.

The goal is to assist traders, streamline processes, save time, and reduce expenses for them.

Addressing the demands of the commercial sector and food and pharmaceutical institutions in the governorate, Mamdouh Al-Qaralleh, President of the Karak Chamber of Commerce, stressed the importance of increasing the number of employees at the Karak branch.

He emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration between the institution and the commercial sector, with a focus on educational and guidance aspects. Qaralleh also underscored the gradual approach to addressing violations and the establishment of a central laboratory for the southern region. He called for a reconsideration of the values assigned to violations.
