Jordan is hosting a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers on Monday at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi.
The meeting aims to coordinate positions and exchange views on key issues on the regional agenda, contributing to the strengthening of joint Arab action and supporting efforts to address current regional challenges.
Following the consultative meeting, Jordan will also host the resumed 165th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level.
The session is expected to discuss a number of issues of common interest, as well as political and security developments across the region, in addition to items included on the council’s agenda.
The resumed session follows the 165th ordinary ministerial meeting of the Arab League Council, which was held virtually under the presidency of Bahrain on March 29, 2026.
