AMMAN — Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya on Monday discussed with Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council Muhammad Koman prospects of joint Arab security cooperation to address current challenges, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. During the meeting, Faraya affirmed Jordan’s commitment to putting the council’s resolutions and recommendations into practice and providing support to the council, expressing pride in the council’s efforts to achieve the aspired security cooperation among its members and its achievements in combating crime. Koman praised Jordan’s “effective and outstanding” role in the council, and its commitment to developing its work mechanism and multiple departments, particularly the Amman-based Arab Office for Narcotics Affairs.
