Army Foils Drone Infiltration Attempt

The Southern Military Region foiled an attempted drone infiltration early Wednesday on its western front within its area of responsibility.

A military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated:اضافة اعلان
"Border guard forces in the Southern Military Region successfully intercepted a drone attempting to cross the border." The source explained that rules of engagement were applied after the drone was detected and tracked, leading to its downing inside Jordanian territory.

The source affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces will respond with full strength and firmness to any threat that endangers the security of the nation and the safety of its citizens.
