Major Mohammad Al-Malkawi from the Traffic Patrol Department said that certain areas are currently undergoing public works, including the Naqab Road in the uphill direction toward Amman. Traffic coming from Aqaba is being diverted to the old Naqab Road. Additionally, construction work will take place this afternoon on the Al-Adasiyah–Naour Road toward Amman to install directional and warning signs. As a result, the right lane heading toward Amman will be closed until the completion of the works.

During the daily traffic report on Public Security Radio, he added that a vehicle overturned this Wednesday morning on the Al-Adasiyah–Naour Road and ended up off the main road. The accident resulted in a moderate injury, and the cause was attributed to a sudden lane change.
Regarding the past 24 hours, Al-Malkawi stated that authorities dealt with an accident involving a vehicle overturning and rolling over outside the boundaries of the main road on the Desert Highway. The incident resulted in one fatality and two moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, Captain Kifah Al-Hazaymeh from the Traffic Department reported that earlier this morning, a collision occurred between two vehicles between Al-Madina and Al-Dakhiliyah roundabouts. The crash caused one vehicle to veer off the road and hit a tree, which fell onto the main road. One person sustained a moderate injury and was treated by Civil Defense teams. The Greater Amman Municipality removed the tree debris from the road, while traffic officers managed the resulting congestion.
He further noted that several incidents and vehicle breakdowns were handled over the past 24 hours. These included a malfunctioning truck inside the Shaab Tunnel, which caused traffic delays during the evening rush hour. Another incident involved a cargo truck overturning on Road 100 toward the airport, resulting in three minor injuries. The cause was determined to be a loss of control due to a tire explosion.
Additionally, a traffic accident occurred in front of the Medical City involving two vehicles, resulting in a minor injury. The accident was also attributed to a sudden lane change.
