Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed Al-Safadi and Eng. Musa Al-Maaytah, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission (IEC), affirmed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation and exchanging technical and administrative expertise in a way that serves the Royal vision for political modernization — a defining theme of Jordan’s second centennial.

Al-Safadi praised the efforts of the IEC in keeping pace with global electoral developments and portraying a positive image of the Jordanian democratic experience. He emphasized that the Commission’s achievements, its continued development, and its institutional capacity-building represent one of the key guarantees for advancing a model political life in the region.
For his part, Al-Maaytah outlined the Commission's key accomplishments during the periods between elections. These include evaluations of the most recent electoral process, reviews of the relevant laws and executive instructions, and the upskilling of staff in areas such as advanced technology, artificial intelligence, professional correspondence, and technical report writing. He also highlighted the development of the Commission’s digital platforms.
Al-Maaytah stressed that the Commission follows a sustainable approach based on continuous learning and building upon what has already been achieved — with the aim of achieving international distinction.
