Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs participated, on Friday, in a meeting held by the Ministerial Committee Assigned by the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit on Gaza at the French Foreign Ministry in Paris.اضافة اعلان

The committee was chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs; Badr Abdel Aty, the Arab Republic of Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration; and Jean-Noel Barrot, the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, they talked about international attempts to put an end to the war in the Gaza Strip and let humanitarian aid to enter the region during the meeting. They also talked on stepping up coordinated measures to stop all violations of international norms and laws, particularly international humanitarian law, committed by Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people and the occupied territories.

In order to promote security and prosperity for the region, the meeting also covered supporting initiatives to bring about peace in the area and implement the two-state solution in compliance with applicable international agreements.

The high-level international conference on the two-state solution, which will be co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic and which take place at the UN headquarters in New York in June, was also discussed at the meeting.
