Crown Prince holds talks with Kuwaiti crown prince

AMMAN — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II on Tuesday held bilateral talks with Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in Kuwait, followed by expanded talks attended by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

Crown Prince Al Hussein expressed pride in the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Kuwait, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah and Kuwait Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

His Royal Highness conveyed His Majesty’s greetings to Sheikh Nawaf, and his wishes of prosperity and progress for the people of Kuwait.

Crown Prince Al Hussein and Sheikh Meshal highlighted the importance of building on the strong relations between the two countries, to further bolster cooperation and expand partnerships across all fields.

The two sides agreed on maintaining coordination and consultation between the two countries on several issues of mutual interest, in service of shared interests and joint Arab action.

For his part, the crown prince of Kuwait conveyed Sheikh Nawaf’s greetings to His Majesty, commending Jordan’s pivotal role in the region and the world, as well as its efforts to work towards stability and in service of Arab and Islamic causes.

Jordan’s Ambassador to Kuwait Saqr Abu Shattal, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Mustafa Khalifeh, and a number of senior Kuwaiti officials attended the expanded talks.

Earlier, His Royal Highness was received upon arrival in Kuwait by the Kuwaiti crown prince and a number of senior Kuwaiti officials, as well as the Jordanian ambassador to Kuwait.
