Captain Al-Farajat explained that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) continued to handle flights according to scheduled timelines. Yesterday’s operational traffic recorded the arrival of 67 flights from various international destinations and the departure of 58 flights to various destinations worldwide.
In a related context, Al-Farajat noted that Royal Jordanian, as the national carrier, has secured the largest share of operations during this period. He pointed out that this pivotal role of Royal Jordanian is essential to ensuring the Kingdom's continued connectivity to the world, especially as some foreign airlines have temporarily suspended their flights due to regional developments and the closure of nearby airspace.
Captain Al-Farajat concluded his statement by affirming that the Commission is monitoring regional developments moment by moment. It is working in constant coordination with all partners to ensure the security and safety of Jordanian airspace, stressing the readiness of technical and technological staff to handle any updates in the best interest of passengers and civil aviation.
