Anti-Narcotics Department Announces Results of Security Campaigns Across the Kingdom This Week
The campaigns targeted drug dealers and suspects wanted on drug-related charges, resulting in the arrest of 65 individuals.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that officers from the Anti-Narcotics Department conducted a series of security operations over the past two weeks targeting drug dealers and individuals wanted in drug-related cases.اضافة اعلان

He confirmed that the campaigns took place in the capital governorate—including the police directorates of South, East, and Central Amman—as well as in the governorates of Zarqa and Irbid, and various areas of the Badia.

In South Amman, multiple raids conducted over several days led to the arrest of 23 wanted drug dealers. In East Amman, a separate campaign resulted in the arrest of 7 drug dealers, while another operation in Central Amman led to the arrest of 10 individuals.



In Irbid Governorate, several security operations were carried out, during which 9 individuals—mostly drug dealers and suspects wanted in related cases—were arrested. In Zarqa, a comprehensive campaign led to the arrest of 6 wanted drug dealers.



In the Central Badia region, 10 drug dealers were arrested during multiple operations. Various quantities of narcotics prepared for sale were seized during the campaigns, in addition to several firearms and ammunition.

All arrested individuals have been referred to the judiciary for legal proceedings.
