Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, extended his highest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II on the anniversary of the Arabization of the Jordanian Army command.

Al-Qadi stated: “On behalf of the members of the House of Representatives, I convey our sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to the heroic members of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies, both active and retired. This commemorates a national milestone that marked a decisive turning point in the history of the Jordanian state.”
He emphasized that the decision to Arabize the army command, made by the late King Hussein bin Talal, strengthened national sovereignty, ensuring that the army remains, over the decades, a symbol of loyalty, discipline, and sacrifice, with the blood of its martyrs writing honorable chapters in defending the homeland and safeguarding its resources.
Al-Qadi added that today, the journey continues under the leadership of King Abdullah II, who is guiding the military institution toward greater professionalism and modernization, drawing on a steadfast Hashemite legacy and the determination of loyal men who carry the nation’s flag with unwavering faith and dedication.
He concluded by affirming that the anniversary of the Arabization of the army command remains an occasion to reflect on the values of dignity and sovereignty, renewing the pledge to keep Jordan safe and proud, supported by the devoted hands of its citizens, with the armed forces and security agencies standing as the nation’s strong shield and unbreakable defense.
