The legislation on the agenda of the extraordinary session includes draft laws on Local Administration, the repeal of the Civil Consumer Corporation Law, the Regulation of Professional Work, the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, in addition to the draft amendments to the Jordanian Universities Law and the Real Property Law.

At the beginning of the session, members of the Senate and the government observed a minute of silence and recited Al-Fatiha for the late Senator Issa Ayoub, who passed away on May 23.

Al-Fayez paid tribute to Senator Ayoub, recalling his contributions and service to the nation throughout his career in public service.

On his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Senate, he expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the late senator's family, relatives, and loved ones.
