Truck drivers face fines and licence suspension over unsecured loads

The Public Security Directorate has warned truck drivers to secure their loads and keep them within the permitted height, setting out the penalties for failing to do so.اضافة اعلان

Exceeding the permitted load height carries a fine of JD20 and suspension of the driver's licence, the directorate said in a statement on Thursday. Failing to secure a load carries a JD50 fine and confiscation of the licence. Both violations put the driver and other road users at risk, the directorate said.
