Sales of apartments ranging in size from 120 to 150 square meters in Jordan increased by 6% during the first eight months of 2026, reaching 6,552 units, compared with 6,197 units during the same period in 2025, according to the monthly report of the Department of Lands and Survey.اضافة اعلان

According to the report, sales in this category rose by 18% in August, reaching 1,074 apartments, compared with 914 units in the same month last year.

Meanwhile, sales of apartments larger than 150 square meters remained relatively stable during the first eight months of 2026, reaching 10,879 units compared with 10,911 units during the same period in 2025.

In August, sales of apartments larger than 150 square meters increased by 8% to 1,856 units, compared with 1,723 units in the same month of 2025.

By contrast, sales of apartments smaller than 120 square meters fell by 5% during the first eight months of the year to 6,828 units, compared with 7,190 units during the same period last year.

Sales in this category also declined by 7% in August, reaching 1,062 units compared with 1,141 units in the same month of 2025.

The total number of apartments sold across the Kingdom during the first eight months of 2026 reached 22,767 units, down 6% from the 24,118 units sold during the same period last year, according to the report monitored by Al Mamlaka.

In August, total apartment sales reached 3,708 units, compared with 3,677 units in the same month last year, representing a 1% increase. Sales also rose by 7% compared with July, when 3,526 apartments were sold.

On November 12, 2024, the Cabinet issued a decision granting a 50% exemption from registration fees for residential apartments larger than 150 square meters. The decision followed an earlier measure providing a 100% exemption from registration fees for apartments smaller than 150 square meters.
