Labour offices and directorates across the Kingdom will open until 5pm from Saturday, September 12, until Wednesday, September 30, under a decision by Minister of Transport and Labour Nidal Katamine.

The extended hours run Saturday through Thursday and are intended to give employers and households time to regularise the status of non-Jordanian workers in breach of regulations, domestic workers among them.
The Ministry of Labour has said the correction period will not be extended and that the financial exemptions set out in the Cabinet decision will not change.
