The Ministry of Social Development has released its performance report for April, highlighting the key services it provided during the month.

According to a press release issued on Monday by the Directorate of Communication and Media, the Ministry received 16,312 applications for the issuance of health insurance cards and 140 applications for treatment cost exemptions. It also processed 139 cases related to inheritance settlements, and 941 transactions concerning work permit exemptions.اضافة اعلان

The report also noted that 40 children were admitted to child care institutions, while 27 children were discharged. Additionally, 13 children were placed with alternative families, and 9 nurseries were licensed.

A total of 244 juveniles benefited from the services of the Ministry’s juvenile care and rehabilitation centers, of whom 87 participated in vocational rehabilitation programs. Regarding child laborers working in illegal conditions, 44 children received psychological and social interventions under the case management methodology.

As for the general registry of associations, the cumulative number of associations registered under the current law reached 6,095 associations. In April, 16 new associations were registered, 56 submitted requests to amend their bylaws, 25 associations were dissolved, 9 temporary boards completed their duties, 10 temporary boards remain active, 6 dissolution committees completed their work, and 2 associations received official warnings.

According to data from the National Aid Fund, 1,239 families benefited from emergency and immediate financial assistance programs, while 47,690 families received regular monthly financial aid. Additionally, 113 families participated in the training program, and the Fund achieved a 94% response rate to incoming calls.

Regarding anti-begging efforts, the report revealed that 470 campaigns were conducted, resulting in the detention of 881 beggars.
