We often set aside our favorite pizza slices just to enjoy the savory taste of toasted garlic bread usually served on the side. The beauty of this dish is that it is incredibly easy to make at home, taking less than 15 minutes to prepare. It offers a perfect crunch combined with a delicious garlic aroma. While it is now sold as pre-packaged chips, making it fresh at home provides a much better and more vibrant flavor.

Ingredients:
French Bread / Baguette: (As needed; a long, thin baguette is preferred for more slices).
Garlic: To taste.
Olive Oil: Can be substituted with butter for a richer flavor.
Shredded Cheddar Cheese: (Optional).
Optional Additions:
Grated onions.
Fresh or dried herbs (such as parsley or oregano).
Homemade dough infused with garlic.
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Bread:
Slice the bread into even pieces. Ensure they are neither too thick nor too thin to achieve the perfect crunch.
2. Prepare the Garlic:
Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely, then mash them until they reach a paste-like consistency. Place the garlic in one bowl and the oil (or melted butter) in another.
3. Seasoning:
Brush both sides of the bread slices with oil first, then spread the garlic paste evenly using a kitchen brush. Top with shredded cheese if desired.
4. Baking:
Preheat your oven to 250°C (approx. 480°F).
Place the slices on a baking tray and bake for about 5–7 minutes until the edges are toasted and the bread turns a beautiful golden blonde.
Note: Keep a close eye on the oven during your first attempt, as baking times may vary depending on your oven's heat intensity.
5. Serving:
Remove the tray from the oven and transfer the garlic bread immediately to a serving plate to enjoy it while hot and crispy.
