His Majesty King Abdullah II received today, Wednesday, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, to discuss health priorities at both the national and regional levels.

During the meeting, held at Basman Al-Zaher Palace in the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, His Majesty emphasized the importance of expanding the partnership between Jordan and the WHO. This collaboration aims to serve national health goals and enhance response mechanisms to health challenges.
His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the Organization's support for several health programs within the Kingdom.
The meeting also addressed various regional developments, with His Majesty stressing the urgent need to intensify international efforts to deliver humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Gaza without restrictions.
