Speaking to Al-Mamlaka, Al-Issa revealed that more than 12,000 transactions have been processed since the beginning of this year. He emphasized that digital transformation in customs services significantly accelerates processing times, providing a positive impact for traders and investors.

Streamlining Investor Experience
Captain Saleem Al-Zawahreh, Head of the Interpol Branch at the Zarqa Free Zone, noted that the Director of Public Security issued directives to digitize the service in cooperation with the Customs Department. The goal is to expedite procedures and issue approvals without requiring applicants to visit the Interpol office in person, thereby enhancing the overall experience for investors and visitors.

Al-Zawahreh added that the Zarqa Free Zone Interpol branch completed over 170,000 transactions last year, confirming that the new electronic inquiry service will enable much faster processing for the trading community.
