The visit is part of broader government preparations aimed at ensuring the readiness of customs services at border crossings and customs clearance centers ahead of Ramadan, a season that typically witnesses a noticeable increase in the movement of goods, essential commodities, and travelers.

Discussions during the visit also focused on mechanisms to further develop customs procedures in Aqaba and enhance the business and investment environment in cooperation with relevant entities.
