While Apple rebranded "Apple ID" to "Apple Account" in 2024, the login credentials and usage methods remain the same, according to an Engadget report.

Changing Your Password on iPhone or iPad
The fastest way to update your password is directly through your device settings:

Open Settings and tap on your Name at the top.

Select Sign-In & Security.

Tap Change Password.

Enter your current password or your device passcode.

Type your new password, confirm it, and tap Change.

Note for Parents: You can also change a child's account password via Settings > Family > [Child's Name] > Password.

Changing Your Password on Mac
If you are running macOS Sequoia or later:

Go to the Apple Menu and select System Settings.

Click on your Name and choose Sign-In & Security.

Click Change Password.

Enter your current Mac password, then create a new password and follow the on-screen instructions.

Changing Your Password via the Web
If you do not have access to your Apple devices:
