Hayel says team will address missteps before Palestine match

AMMAN — National football team Al-Radeef’s manager Ahamd Hayel, said the team beat Turkmenistan on Monday in their match at the King Abdallah II Stadium. The match was part of the opening round of the Asia Cup playoffs under 23 years of age. اضافة اعلان

Hayel said in a press conference that followed the match: “We have achieved what we wanted, but we had some hiccups during the match, and we are going to address them before playing Palestine.” 

The Palestine match will take place October 31.

National player Ali Olwan said: “Selected by the Asian Football Confederation as the best player in the match.” He added that he was happy with winning and scoring the only goal of the match, noting that “the first encounters are usually always difficult, but we made it.” 

The national team leads group three, with Turkmenistan and Palestine remaining in second and third places respectively.
