Amman —The Jordan national under-23 team concluded its training camp in Tunisia, held from September 22 to October 4, as part of preparations for upcoming competitions.

During the camp, the team played friendly matches against local clubs, defeating Club Africain’s reserve side 3-0 and Espérance Sportive de Tunis 2-0 before drawing 1-1 with Bizertin.
Head coach Abdul Latif Jerindo expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance during the camp, stressing that the players benefited significantly from the technical experience and produced strong performances against clubs with a distinguished history in African football.
“The players delivered impressive technical performances with a high level of focus and discipline. They also demonstrated significant ability against teams considered among the top sides on the African continent,” he said.
He added: “This type of preparation and these strong matches will help raise the team’s level ahead of upcoming competitions and give the players a clearer understanding of the quality and strength of the opponents they will face in official competitions.”
