Bayern Munich, winners of the domestic double in Germany, has closed the door on the potential sale of French star Michael Olise during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old Olise has attracted interest from several clubs this summer, most notably Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, Christoph Freund, the Bavarian club's Sporting Director, put an end to the ongoing speculation, emphasizing that there is no possibility of parting ways with the French international. His comments came following a friendly match in which Bayern Munich suffered a 1–2 defeat against Third Division side Wiesbaden.
Speaking to the media after Saturday's friendly, Freund stated: "Olise's departure is completely out of the question, and we look forward to his return to the squad once his vacation ends."
He added: "Olise will be a key pillar for us in the new season, just as he was last season."
For its part, French outlet Foot Mercato noted that the statements by Bayern's Sporting Director would deal a blow to Real Madrid, prompting the club's board to shift their focus toward finalizing a deal for Ivorian winger Yan Diomande.
Olise shone in his World Cup debut with the French national team, helping them secure a fourth-place finish. He also became the player with the most assists in a single World Cup tournament, recording 7 assists and surpassing the late Brazilian legend Pelé, a three-time World Cup winner.
The French international winger joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 from English side Crystal Palace, with his contract with the German giants set to run for three more seasons until 2029.
