In a post on the "X" platform, the UN agency stressed the importance of keeping armed groups away from truck routes and humanitarian aid distribution points. It also issued an urgent call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

The WFP renewed its warning about the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Strip, noting that one in three people in Gaza is going without food for several consecutive days.

The UN agency confirmed it is continuing to provide life-saving food assistance inside Gaza despite the deteriorating security situation, limited access, and the growing desperation of communities in need.
