WHO working to evacuate more individuals from hospitals in northern Gaza

GAZA — According to Christian Lindmeier, a spokesperson for the World Health
Organization (WHO), the organization is currently working on evacuating more
individuals from hospitals in northern Gaza as soon as the truce goes into effect on

Lindmeier expressed concern about the safety of those remaining in the Shifa
Medical Complex, including an estimated 100 patients and medical staff members,
Al-Mamlaka TV, Reuters reported.

While the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that they would suspend cooperation
with the organization due to reports of Israel detaining medical staff for interrogation,
Lindmeier declined to comment on the matter.
