AMMAN — Polling stations in various parts of Turkey opened
its doors this morning for the decisive second round of the presidential
election runoff to determine the next president.
The run-off round for presidential elections is held between
current President Tayyip Erdogan and his main rival, Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
For the first time in
its history, Turkey is organizing the second round of voting as none of the
candidates were able to obtain a 50 percent plus one majority in the first
round.
Voting will continue until 5pm GMT+3 in all Turkish
provinces, border crossings, and airports.
