According to a report by CNN, U.S. intelligence has indicated that Israel is preparing to launch strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, citing unnamed American officials.

The officials noted that such a move would mark a sharp break from former President Donald Trump’s stance, and warned that an Israeli strike could spark a wider regional conflict in the Middle East.
Citing Al Jazeera, the report emphasized that Israel has not made a final decision yet on whether to proceed with the attack.
A U.S. source reportedly told CNN that Washington is unlikely to assist Israel in such a strike at this time. Meanwhile, an Israeli source told the network, "We will be prepared to act alone militarily if the U.S. negotiates a bad deal with Iran."
A U.S. official added that Israel has consistently maintained that military action is the only way to halt Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
This development comes amid growing tensions in the region, with diplomatic efforts to revive the Iran nuclear deal facing significant hurdles.
