A Palestinian child was killed by live fire from Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Sunday in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that occupation forces fired live ammunition at 16-year-old Mohammad Eyad Mohammad Abarah in Silat al-Harithiya, leading to his martyrdom, before seizing his body.
Occupation forces had earlier raided Silat al-Harithiya on Saturday evening, storming a number of homes and firing live bullets and sound bombs amid clashes with residents, while snipers took up positions on the rooftops of several buildings.
With the killing of the child Abarah, the death toll in Jenin Governorate since the start of the Israeli aggression on the city and its refugee camp on January 21 has risen to 60 martyrs. (Petra)
