The man was on his way to work inside Israel when Israeli forces opened fire on him, according to the Palestinian news agency, Wafa.

An Israeli spokesperson said its forces had shot at someone who “vandalized” the separation wall.

Israeli occupation forces have killed 45 Palestinians in the West Bank since late March, including Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.

Nineteen Israelis, including a settler, were killed in the same period.

Violence has recently flared again since Israeli occupation forces killed three members of Palestinian resistance movements during a raid in Jenin on Friday.
