Pezeshkian added, "Our fundamental position is based on maintaining peace, stability, and security in the region. We do not seek to expand the scope of war; we have not initiated any wars or conflicts, nor have we attacked any country. We have no intention of aggression against any nation and are merely exercising our legal and legitimate right to self-defense."

He further emphasized that "the enemy has failed to achieve its objectives and has violated international laws by attacking infrastructure, schools, and hospitals." He noted that "the enemy's statements regarding the destruction of our civilization and returning Iran to the Stone Age reveal the true intentions and goals of the aggressors."
