Iran Executes Individual on Charges of Intelligence Cooperation with Israel

Tehran — Iranian authorities executed a man by hanging on Saturday after convicting him of spying for Israeli intelligence and committing acts of sabotage and violence during the nationwide protests that swept the country this year, according to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.اضافة اعلان

Tasnim reported that Erfan Kiani, described as a "hired agent of the Mossad," participated in the destruction and arson of both public and private property. The agency added that Kiani was accused of spreading terror and fear in the city of Isfahan while armed with a cleaver.

According to the report, the death sentence was carried out at dawn following the Supreme Court's ratification of the verdict and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
