Iran’s central military command warned on Monday of a “more destructive” response if civilian targets are attacked again.
A spokesperson for the central military command said in a statement published by Iran’s state broadcasting authority on Telegram: “If attacks on civilian targets are repeated, the next phases of our offensive and retaliatory operations will be more destructive and broader in scope.”
This warning comes after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened on Sunday to bomb Iran’s bridges and energy facilities on Tuesday unless it reopens the Strait of Hormuz.
