Larijani: Appointment of New Supreme Leader Frustrated Washington and Tel Aviv

In his congratulatory message, Larijani stated that Khamenei's election has "disappointed Iran's warring enemies and granted new hope to the rights-seeking Iranian people."

Larijani expressed his hope that Khamenei’s leadership would pave the way for the country's economic development and strengthen the standing of the Islamic Republic.

Furthermore, Larijani emphasized that the General Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council will exert "maximum seriousness" in implementing directives during these delicate circumstances, wishing him success in his duties.
