In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its outright rejection of these remarks, which it described as a clear violation of international law and an attempt to entrench the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories. The statement emphasized that such declarations undermine the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state along the June 4, 1967 lines, encompassing the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and with East Jerusalem as its capital—reflecting the territorial unity of all Palestinian lands.

Egypt also reiterated its rejection of Israel's blatant violations in the West Bank, including repeated raids, arrests, and the ongoing expansion of settlements, which it said threaten regional security—especially in light of the ongoing crimes in Gaza that aim to dismantle all foundations of life for the steadfast Palestinian people.

The statement urged the international community to intervene immediately to halt these blatant violations against the Palestinian people in the occupied territories, stressing the need to intensify global efforts to fulfill the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people.
