At least 17 Palestinians have been killed since dawn Thursday in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including three people waiting for humanitarian aid.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, three civilians were killed and others injured by Israeli gunfire while waiting for aid southwest of Khan Younis.
Two children were also killed and others injured when Israeli artillery shelled Al-Hanawi School in the northwest of Khan Younis.
In Gaza City, one person was killed in a drone strike near Masqat School east of Al-Nafaq Street, while others were wounded or reported missing following a strike on a home near Abu Habib Roundabout in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of the city.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel—the occupying power—has been waging a genocidal war in Gaza marked by mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of all international appeals and rulings from the International Court of Justice demanding a halt.
The ongoing assault has resulted in over 202,000 Palestinians killed or injured—most of them women and children—along with more than 9,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that has claimed countless additional lives.
