His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, announced the news on the platform X (formerly Twitter), saying:

“With hearts that believe in Allah’s will and destiny, and with great sorrow and grief, we mourn our beloved son, Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, who passed away today.”

Born in April 1990, Prince Al-Waleed was an outstanding student at the military academy. In 2005, he suffered a severe car accident while studying at a military college in London, which left him in a coma that lasted for 20 years.
