The operation aimed to prevent the smuggling of narcotics and weapons into Jordan by striking factories, facilities, and warehouses used by these groups as launch points for their operations.

According to the Armed Forces, the targets were identified based on intelligence and operational information, and were struck with a high degree of precision to ensure their destruction.

The military noted that these groups have adopted new methods, exploiting weather conditions and the current regional situation to carry out their activities. It also indicated a noticeable increase in attempts to smuggle weapons and drugs, posing a significant challenge to border guard units and supporting formations.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to taking proactive, decisive, and deterrent measures against any threat to Jordan’s security and sovereignty, utilizing all available capabilities to confront such threats with strength and firmness.
