During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Momani added: "Our primary strategic goal in dealing with current events is to safeguard Jordanian national security against any threat or attack that may attempt to undermine Jordan's safety and stability."
He further noted: "Our second strategic goal is to prioritize mitigating the repercussions of this crisis on our citizens and the national economy."
Momani praised the role of the private sector, including the transport and shipping industries, as well as the chambers of industry and commerce, for their efforts in alleviating the impact of the current crisis.
He confirmed that "supply chains are operating regularly and sustainably, basic commodities are available, and the flow of energy continues uninterrupted."
Additionally, he revealed that 267 ships arrived at the Port of Aqaba last month.
