His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized on Tuesday Jordan's rejection of any Israeli measures aimed at exploiting the regional situation to impose a new reality in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza. His Majesty also highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to mobilizing an effective international stance in this regard.

During his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, His Majesty discussed the gravity of unilateral actions in the West Bank. He warned of the need to intensify international efforts to halt illegal measures aimed at entrenching settlement activity and imposing Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank.
Regarding the attacks on Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, the King reaffirmed the Kingdom’s continued commitment to its historical role in safeguarding these sites under the Hashemite Custodianship.
Furthermore, His Majesty stressed the necessity of ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to all areas of Gaza to alleviate the human suffering there.
The King also affirmed Jordan's support for the Palestinian National Authority's reform efforts in a manner that serves the interests of the brotherly Palestinian people.
