Ten Israeli soldiers were injured on Sunday when a military Jeep transporting them overturned on the outskirts of Gaza City, which is currently under an ongoing Israeli military offensive.

According to the Hebrew site Walla, a Humvee military Jeep overturned at approximately 5:15 AM (GMT+3) north of the Gaza Strip, with no details provided regarding the cause of the accident.
The incident resulted in injuries to ten soldiers, two of whom were airlifted to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem by helicopter, while the remaining eight were transported by ambulance.
In recent days, the Israeli army has deployed thousands of infantry, armored, and engineering units to Gaza to accelerate the planned invasion and regain control of the area. According to Israeli military sources, around 70,000 troops are currently in Gaza.
The Israeli Channel 7 reported that the injured soldiers belong to the Kfir Brigade and were hurt on Gaza’s outskirts. The Israeli army has announced that an investigation into the incident will be conducted.
Since October 7, 2023, with U.S. support, Israel has been carrying out a military operation in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 65,208 Palestinians and injuries to 166,271 others, the majority being women and children.
