Israeli warplanes carried out overnight and early Monday airstrikes on the outskirts of Kfar Tibnit and the Ali al-Taher woodland near Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while several areas in southern Lebanon came under intermittent artillery fire.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that artillery shelling hit Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, and the Khallat Mayfadoun area between Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and Mayfadoun in the Nabatieh district.
The shelling also targeted Beit Lif and Hadatha, as well as the outskirts of Braasheet, in the Bint Jbeil district.
The attacks extended to Wadi Saluki and the outskirts of Toulin in the Marjayoun district. Illumination shells were also fired over Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Markaba, Houla and Hadatha.
The agency also reported heavy machine-gun fire during search operations targeting Srebbine, Hadatha, the outskirts of Mais al-Jabal, Wadi Saluki and Wadi Zibqin.
Israeli military vehicles were also reported moving through Hadatha, Beit Yahoun, Rachaf and Mais al-Jabal, according to the agency.
