Israeli forces continued imposing closures on roads and neighborhoods in occupied Jerusalem on Monday, coinciding with what is known as Yom Kippur, while the Ibrahimi Mosque was closed on Sunday and Monday under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

Israeli forces also ordered Waqf employees and custodians of the mosque to leave at 2 p.m., instead of the usual closing time of 10 p.m.
Ibrahimi Mosque Director Moataz Abu Sneineh described the measure as a violation of the protocols governing the site.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested seven Palestinians in Jenin Governorate, including two women, and five others in Tulkarm, including former prisoners. Arrests were also reported in Jerusalem and Hebron amid extensive raids and searches.
In the town of Beit Duqqu, northwest of Jerusalem, dozens of young men were reportedly detained during an arrest campaign. According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces continued holding at least 53 young men at an interrogation center set up inside a house seized during the raid on the town.
The forces also searched homes, damaged their contents and assaulted Palestinians. They raided Burqa village northwest of Nablus and several villages northwest of Ramallah, searching homes and ransacking their contents. In Ramallah, they fired live ammunition as well as sound and tear gas grenades, with no injuries reported.
In Hebron, Israeli forces arrested Yazan Rajab Burqan and set up checkpoints at entrances to the city, its towns, villages and refugee camps. They also blocked roads with iron gates, concrete blocks and earth mounds.
In the Gaza Strip, three Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces' fire in northern Khan Younis, including two near Hamad City, while a third was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the same area.
