Jordanian taekwondo player inches towards gold medal

Amman — Saleh Elsharabaty, a 22-year old Jordanian taekwondo athlete, beat his opponent, the Ukrainian Nikita Rafalovich, in the Olympic semifinals. The win cleared the way for the athlete to move onto the gold medal contest in a competition against the Russian Maksim Sergeyevich Khramtcov.اضافة اعلان

Elsharabaty will face off with Khramtcov at 3:45 PM. The Jordanian athlete competes in the 80 kg category. Previously, he won medals at the 2018 Taekwondo Grand Prix in Moscow, the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, and the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan.
