He added, in reference to what was published in a local newspaper, that in cooperation with all professional associations and civil society institutions, an agreement was reached to implement the third phase of the National E-Invoicing System for purchases. It mandates compulsory enrollment in the e-invoicing system and states that no tax-deductible expense will be accepted unless it is supported by an invoice issued through the National E-Invoicing System.

This applies to invoices issued by members of the Pharmacists Association as well, with the additional requirement that insurance companies only accept electronic invoices bearing a watermark (QR Code) generated by the National E-Invoicing System.
