The U.S. dollar retreated once again on Monday, while a sharp rally in the Taiwanese dollar spread to other regional currencies, fueling speculation that some Asian countries may be preparing for currency revaluations in an effort to gain trade concessions from the United States.اضافة اعلان

According to Bloomberg, the Taiwanese dollar surged by more than 3%, reaching 29.618 against the U.S. dollar. Meanwhile, the Chinese yuan climbed to its highest level in nearly six months, hitting 7.1980 per dollar.

The euro rose by 0.3% to $1.1333, while the U.S. Dollar Index fell by 0.2% to 99.17. The dollar also dropped 0.4% against the Japanese yen, trading at 144.21 yen.

The Australian dollar edged up to $0.6466, reaching a five-month high, as a robust U.S. jobs report boosted global risk appetite.
